I deck myself out in fur and thigh high boots.

Classy as fuck.

Per usual.

And put on my favourite plum lipstick from Essences.

I grab my Reckless Ambitions ostrich duffle bag and my zulu phone and head out.

Fate told me that at 6:15 am on September 18, 2013 in front of these god damn gates of this park....

That I'd finally meet you, hug you, kiss you and love you.

She stares off into the distance at a memory deep in the recesses of her mind. She smiles sadly to herself. She then shakes her head to try to rid her mind of the memory, that has once again slithered its way into her skull. She then turns around to face the room again only to gasp loudly at the sight before her....

the room is now glittering.....

She slowly walks towards the piano and looks about the room in awe. As a feeling of nostalgia hits her. She begins to hum a tune that's been haunting her for awhile......

Gully Creepa!

Disclaimer:

[ Gully creepa ] *Noun* a "thing" :

 "Some so call bad men used to use the gully to hide from police and creep up on their own brothers and sisters and kill them for what they have. "

[ Gully in Jamaica ] *Noun* a place :

There is the definition of the term "gully" here in North America where it is meant as "too raw and real"  and is used as an adjective but in Jamaica "Gully" is a noun. Gully is basically a ditch that is found under bridges or inside little tunnels that runs water through it.

With that said. The term "Gully" is also used as a gang affiliated phrase in Jamaica: "Gully mi seh." Jamaica is now divided into 2 parts because of 2 dancehall reggae artists that have waged a "war" against eachother. The "leader" of the "Gully side" is Movado. So he coined the term "Gully mi seh". Anyone who says this is said to be in support of the "Gully side." Movado's rival is Vybez Cartel. He is the leader of the "Gaza side": "Gaza mi seh". 

I am in support of neither side. I feel this rival/feud is mindless. BUT I am using the popular dancehall song "Gully creepa" as an artistic and creative way of expression for this post. Not as support for this war.

To get an idea of the vibe, mannerisms and character that I had in mind when putting this look together for this post refer to this youtube video and watch this dancer in Jamaica doing the dance "Gully creepa"

So basically.....

Why pretend to be a Gully creepa? When you could truly be one?

New Faces: Camilla!!

This post is featuring a new skin designer in Second life! She goes by the name of Gwen Aloix, and her new skin/body store is called "New faces". Cute, right? She has released a skin before this one I'm posting about, it's called "Arianna". It's GORGEOUS!! It's made me turn into a ginger on the grid now, lol, it's awesome. Just like her newest release:  "Camilla"!

I am wearing all the available tones and eyebrow colour options in this pic from left to right: Pale (in the blonde brow option and 01 freckle option) , Sunkissed ( in the red brow option and 02 freckle option) and Darker ( in the brown brow option).

Haaai, Loves!!

So as promised I have released my shape for TheShops "Pussy" skin.

Please keep in mind that she was designed SPECIFICALLY for TheShops "Pussy" skin.

So she will look entirely different in any other skin.

HOWEVER....

I feel she may look good in skins that have a lot of detail of contour and highlighting around the nose.

It all really depends on the design of the skin you put her in.

The inspiration of this shapes look is none other than....

Lana Del Rey:

  Okay...granted my shape does not look EXACTLY like her, but that wasn't my aim anyway. My shape Olivia is INSPIRED by the looks and features of Lana Del Rey.

• The upturn of her nose.
• And the pout and width of her lips.

All inspired by this woman. :)

Diamond Bones: Home is where......

HAIIII LOVESSS!! <333

So I got a lil' post for ya today!! This post will focus mainly on some items I love from this months Collabor88 event! So as soon as I walked in I saw the Fashionably Dead display and fell in love! I had to restrain myself from buying EVERYTHING, LOL. Oh!! And also through a flickr friend (Octavia Dorchester <3) I found out about this cute free mesh bag with a lil' cute Chihuahua!! I had to go by the sim it was located and snatch it up!! It soo reminded me of my real life Chihuahua, Chaz....minus the Tan spots! :3

Inspiration for this look?

The inspiration for this look is from The Shops "Pussy" skin that I bought this past weekend and the new shape I made to compliment the skin.
And yes...she's VERY Lana Del Rey inspired. (She's supposed to) I've always admired the classic, timeless, girly, sometimes hippy but very urban/ghetto fab style of Lana Del Rey. (That was a mouthful!!)  She'll rock a button up blouse with an above the knee a-line skirt with PERFECTLY coiffed retro era inspired hair and makeup but she'll accessorize the look with thick gold chains and long stiletto style acrylic nails. Just. So. LUSH!
I love it.

So as soon as I saw the button up tucked blouses from Fashionably Dead I knew EXACTLY what sort of look I wanted to put together! :3
